Commissioned Work: Begonia 3
Commissioned Work: Bird of Paradise 1
Commissioned Work: Carnation 12
Commissioning a painting is a collaborative process.
My goal is to make the experience enjoyable, transparent, and stress-free. Together we can design a unique work of art.
How It Works
Share Your Vision
Tell me about the flower, size, and feeling you would like the painting to convey. Before I begin, you will already have a clear picture of what the finished piece will look like.
Photography & Concept
All my paintings are created from my own photographs of live flowers. I will source the flower, photograph it, and share the concept with you for approval before painting begins.
Creation & Delivery
Once approved, I will paint your piece and share my progress along the way. When complete, packaging and shipping will be handled by a trusted professional art shipper at cost — no markup.
Common Questions
Can I commission any type of flower?
All my paintings are created from my own photographs of live flowers. For this reason, commissions are only possible if I can source the flower and photograph it myself. I am happy to discuss whether your chosen flower is one I can work with.
What sizes are available?
Commissions are available in custom sizes, from smaller studies to large-scale canvases.
Will I see the painting before it is finished?
Absolutely. Before I begin, you will already have a clear picture of what the finished piece will look like. I share progress photos throughout the process so there are no surprises.
What if I'm not satisfied with the finished painting?
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the finished painting, I offer a refund of all but 5% of the total cost. Clarity and communication are central to how I work, so you can feel confident and excited about the result every step of the way.
How is shipping handled?
Once your painting is completed and approved, I organize packaging and shipping through a trusted professional art shipper at cost — no markup. Shipping can be arranged to destinations across Canada and internationally.
